A beautiful specimen from Brazil! Although this one appears to be a geode section, there is absolutely no matrix apparent anywhere on the surface. The outer side is covered with large, deep purple points that exhibit attractive dark inclusions within most. Inside is a blanket of brilliant micro crystals, clear to light purple, arranged in a glittering drusy pattern. A naturally flat crystal base provides for easy self display. What a classy way to show off a glass table or curio shelf. This amethyst sparkles!
