Amethyst Cathedral Geode w/Bridge

Large, Luscious Purple Points!  The skillful slice that opened this joyful cathedral geode reveals a passionately purple cavern just teeming with exquisite nodules, pine cones and knobs.   Some tips actually touch as they bridge across the narrow cavity near the top.  A polished rind encases a beautiful blue-green agate lining and several striking nodule side cuts - a real treat!  With no mentionable clear quartz (or other minerals) in sight, no additional cement base, and only a stabilizing solution applied to the outer surface, this church-style geode is awesome amethyst, through and through!  Mined in Uruguay.
