Tall Amethyst Quartz Geode

Gorgeous!  Sparkly!  A stunning display of purple points highlights a treasure trove of special features inside this awesome amethyst cathedral geode.  Frosty white calcite "flowers" bloom in several spots within the spacious open cavity, and luscious "pinecone" nodules are readily apparent (at least 4 near the top, and 1 on the base).  In the pretty polished "rind" you'll spot bare hints of citrine, great calcite sections, and a couple of especially interesting agatized rock areas.  All of this and more is encased within a traditionally-shaped matrix that has been treated with a stabilizing solution and cement-enhanced base (for ease of self-display).  Tall and elegant, this amethyst cathedral will tower over your other mineral specimens - perhaps living up to its cathedral status within the rock kingdom? I think so!  Brazil.
