XL Amethyst Upright Geode w/Stand

This Outstanding Amethyst from Uruguay is one tall and very hefty geode!  It's extraordinary lining of deep purple amethyst crystals pretty much speaks for itself.  But I will point out the lovely calcite crystal near the base, and a nicely polished rind that gives a more finished look.  Due to it's weighty (and sizable) nature, this is NOT a sculpture to be moved around frequently!  But a solid, custom-built rustic iron stand does allow for display on any strong surface - table, floor, mantle or ???  So if you're looking for that special entryway "wow" piece, or grandiose centerpiece, this awesome amethyst could be the one!  (Note:  no known additives have been applied to any surface.  More photos available on request).
