Clear Quartz Cluster

Huge and sparkling, this very beautiful clear quartz cluster is totally blanketed with hundreds of wand crystals and formed into a coveted rounded arrangement. Needle-like micro crystals with sharp terminations literally carpet the mound, with quartz points growing out of barite, and barite attaching to quartz crystals. Perhaps the most exciting features of this piece are the exceptionally large, milky barite crystals themselves, scattered over the surface, that produce a beautifully iridescent sheen. Rarely do barite crystals of this size appear in quartz. And when they do, it is extremely uncommon for a single cluster to contain this large number of over-sized barites - approximately 7 crystals.
