Smelted Quartz Sphere

Awesome!  What can you say about perfection?  This extraordinarily large sphere was created through a process known as "smelting".  Raw natural quartz was melted into a liquid, a few additives were mixed in, and the liquid was cooled and solidified into this perfect sphere. The surface is smooth, polished, and highly lustrous. But perhaps the most striking feature is the absolute, water-clear clarity. There are no inclusions in this sphere. This incredible lack of inclusions or interference of any kind demonstrates the unique character and rarity of this piece. Of course this fabulous crystal would be the focal point of any room, and a highly prized addition to any collection.
