XL Star Rose Quartz Sphere

Extraordinary Star Rose Quartz!  Alluring deep, dark pinks set the tone for the vibrant aura emanating from this highly polished rose quartz sphere of grandiose proportions.  Swirling inclusions, including a couple of iron-colored stripes, weave in and out of translucent areas that allow glimpses into its vastly secretive interior.  But its outstanding asterism feature, the 6-sided star of light rays, is "out there" for anyone to view, along with an optical illusion that makes the star appear to be not on, but a few inches above, the surface!  And if the cosmos looks favorably on you, a second star - a few inches from the first - may make an appearance for you, too.  It's challenging to coax it out (I've only seen it twice myself), but it IS there!  Have fun with this large, lively and lovely stone of love from Madagascar!
